- Birmingham New Street Station, New Street, Birmingham, West Midlands
On Tuesday 15th October, Tom Delaney, Project Manager for the new station called Worcestershire Parkway will be coming to talk to the IRO.
Tom will explain how the initial concept for a station evolved into the exciting potential it will have in the future as a key Worcestershire railway station and how it will serve the surrounding towns, villages linked to the City of Worcester. The project has had challenges to overcome but the transformation of the site from a field to an operational railway station serving two main line routes is an amazing achievement.
The talk will be held at Birmingham New Street Station and we will meet at 17:00hrs outside the Station Reception (next door to Krispy Kreme) for refreshments with a 17:30hrs start. There will be opportunity for a question or two and the meeting will close at 19:00hrs.
We look forward to seeing you there.
