Neil considers the safety lessons to be learned from the runaway of the Caledonian Sleeper Service at Edinburgh Waverley on I August 2019. It is suggested that those attending the lecture would benefit from reading the RAIB report into the incident which can be found at here.
Neil is a career railwayman well known in the UK Freight sector. His company supplied the shunter involved in the incident.
